Crime Stoppers First Responder Scholarship
Rochester Area Crime Stoppers offers a First Responder Scholarship to students seeking a career in Criminal Justice, Fire Protection Services and Emergency Medical Services. Awards will range between $500 and $1000. Applications will be accepted and awarded year-round. Interested college students in good standing should apply at roccrimestoppers@gmail.com and include the following information in order to be considered:
1. Name, address, contact info including phone and email
2. Current college enrollment and program info including GPA
3. 300-word essay or narrative explaining why they chose a career in law enforcement, fire science, or emergency medical technician.
4. Background information including school and community projects
